Several enterprise information systems (EIS) can be implemented to support business processes and the emergent digital ecosystems. In many cases, information systems allow business redesign and new forms of interactions with business partners. This unit will address the specification, design, and implementation of business processes supported by emerging information technologies and enterprise architectures. Different enterprise information systems will be studied, including ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management), SCM (Supply Chain Management), HCM (Human Capital Management) and other platforms that are driving digital transformation and industry 4.0.
